This interesting modern desert house, called Estancia fairway 1, is located on the dry hot desert terrain of Scottsdale, Arizona. This 7,000 sq ft house is designed to nestle into the desert surrounding. Stone shadow lines accentuate horizontality, tucking the forms into the landscape.

The house is built in 2002, when owners requested residence for luxury life in the nature. Architecture office behind the project is Sterling-Huddleson Architecture, designers of beautiful Ojai Valley Hilltop Compound and 2005 Hamptons Cottage in Bridgehmpton, NY.
